Afternoon rehearsals at Macky Auditorium in Boulder present a surprise treat. The concert hall boasts six enormous orange stained-glass windows that cast a beautiful glow across the stage. I spent that entire rehearsal enamored with the way the light caught my instruments - I had to paint it!
