The inspiration for "Embracing Light" came from an encounter with the object itself. There's something profoundly nostalgic about the weathered beauty of industrial tools. The way the sunlight clipped the worn edges of the Crosby clamp, casting intricate shadows that seemed to dance on its surface, was too compelling to ignore. It was in that moment of attention and insight that I felt an irresistible urge to translate that play of light, shadow, and materiality onto paper.
